Hi Jasone.
I haven't used their ring tool business but I have used their mechanical services last year.
The ring tool rentals have only started this year but they are a very reliable company and Ken, the owner is probably one of the nicest guys you will meet at the ring.
He savved my bacon last year on my birthday when my brake pads decided to melt and I didn't have the right tool to replace them d'oh.
He was recommended to me by one of th shops in Adenau and his prices were extremely reasonable!!!
This is his website:

You won't be disappointed.
Cheers

Hi, some freind's who stayed with us this year (hi edd, hope the wedding went well !!) used them, they hired their lotus 211, it was excellent value for money compared to other hiring company's and it was well prepared, customer service was good and ken is a really nice bloke, i would not hesitate to hire a car from him, an all round good experiance was had by the guys that hired the car and we even managed to get some pax laps in ! |

Hi Mark! Yes wedding was great...
Ring Project is a little complicated to explain in terms of their business structure (as above theyre not 'really' a car rental place, theyre a workshop in Adenau that manages a few cars for customers of theirs), but long story short, ken and the car he manages are great. their rates are around the cheapest youll find (for the 211 we paid $69 per lap inc fuel, tyres, insurance, NOT including insurance on the 211 itself, but you can buy liability cover for the 211 as extra) which all things considered isnt bad.
the 211 is an excellent car, perhaps a little underpowered for the handling capabilities it has, but it sticks like sh1t to a blanket and is a very very safe car to take on the ring as a first timer due to its firm-footedness and very predictable handling. not to make it sound boring (ask mark!) far from it (191ps and 800kg) just saying it 'could' take a lot more power because it handles SO damn well
id wholly recommend ken, and if you do talk to him, say ed and the boys from australia say hi
cheers

I happen to know they are looking to expand their business.
They wrote a letter into EVO magazine, asking about what new car they should get for the rentals. |

Surely the only answer to that question should be a Nissan GTR???
Anyone that hires one of those out would do a booming business I would imagine |

he was thinking, M3 Competition, Audi R8, Corvette Z06 or Nissan GT-R.
They decided that the GT-R would probably be most most expensive on upkeep, but also the best choice. |

| you are VERY right. And i think if you can afford to spend that sort of money on a few laps, you can probably afford to buy said car yourself. |

Just did some laps with Ring Projekt this last week. It was my first time on the ring and I am American, so I didn't take out the 211 since it is right hand drive. I took out the elise S though and it was great. Ken is a great guy and the whole thing was a perfect first experience. The track is so different from other tracks.
They have another elise that got wrecked and is out of commission right now. They were supposed to get an Exige on Friday, so I missed that by a day.
Overall can't say enough good about them and their cars. The elise looked and felt like it was in top notch condition. |

This looks very promising. I have been looking for a place to store a car near the Ring. Now I just need to figure out what is needed to own and keep a car in Germany (I live in Norway).
